Liposculpture

c-lipoLaser liposuction should not be viewed as a weight loss solution. It is mainly used to remove stubborn areas of fat that don’t seem to go away with dieting and exercise. It is most commonly used to target fat in the lower and upper abdomen, the love handles, inner and outer thighs, upper arms and chin.

The procedure is performed under local anaesthetic, although sedation may be provided on client’s request.

After the area is anaesthetised the laser is inserted beneath the skin, the skin tightens and the fat is melted. The melted fat is then aspirated from the area. A corset must be worn for 4-6 weeks after the procedure so that the skin will heal evenly. Although many clients report seeing results within days of treatment with continued improvement over several weeks, final results are visible after 3 to 4 months. Results are permanent.

However, as with any slimming/weight loss treatment or programme, a supplementary healthy lifestyle is necessary to maintain the body’s condition & SmartLipo’s efficacy.

Weight Management

c-weightHCG is a hormone produced by women during pregnancy. By combining it with a specific diet the hormone targets storage fat areas of the body. In contrast to most diets, where women lose fat from their face and breasts, this diet will focus on the abdomen, hips, and upper arms. Most women lose 6-8 kg in 3 weeks and 9-14 kg in 6 weeks. Men tend to lose more, up to 19 kg in 6 weeks. The diet guidelines are very strict but, if adhered to, very effective. One quirky aspect to it is that the person following this diet can have absolutely no contact with oil. Therefore, food is grilled or steamed. Shampoos, make-up, soaps and anything else that comes into contact with your body has to be oil free. If contact with oil is made the person will feel hungry and not lose as much weight on that day. Interested persons need to attend an initial consultation with the medical doctor prior to starting the programme as additional information will be given therein.

Long Term Hair Removal by Laser

c-laserHair Removal by Laser does not only remove unwanted body hair without damaging the delicate pores and structures of the skin; it also drastically and permanently reduces hair growth and prolongs hair growth cycles from just a few weeks to many months. Popular body parts treated by women are the legs, thighs, bikini line, under arms and upper lips. With men, hair removal by laser is most commonly done on the back, the chest and the face. Length of each session depends on the body part being treated. The Alexandrite laser only works on black and brown hair. Thus white, grey, blonde, red or bleached hair is not treated.

The laser is safe and does not pose any cancer risk. The main side effect risked is of pigmentation, however, if the patient frequently applies sunblock and keeps the skin as close to its natural colour as possible, then this risk is reduced. Patients should avoid sun exposure to the areas treated and apply sunblock frequently while undergoing this treatment.

Botox  “Face Rejuvenation”

c-dermalBotox is mainly used to treat the wrinkles on the upper part of the face, thus restoring a more youthful appearance without giving up the natural look. It works by paralysing the small muscles of the face, thus reducing the appearance of lines whilst still allowing facial movement.

The main areas treated are the lines on the forehead, frown lines and the lines around the eyes (crow’s feet). Botox has also been successfully used as a prophylactic treatment for migraines.

Dermal Fillers

As the name implies, Dermal Fillers are substances used to fill areas that have become deeply wrinkled or furrowed with time, or that clients would like to enhance. The most commonly treated areas are the nasolabial fold (the line extending from the corner of the nose to the mouth), the lines around the lips, the lips, and the cheeks.

This is a walk-in, walk-out short procedure that requires no anaesthetic. The filling in and smoothing effects of Dermal Fillers give the face a fuller and younger look.
